The Sleep Medicine Summer School is one of the modules of the Academy of Sleep and Consciousness (ASC) educational program (founded from a joint effort of the University of Bern and the Università della Svizzera italiana) with a strong focus on clinic and basic research and with the objective to provide a high-quality postgraduate course in sleep and consciousness.
This year the Sleep Medicine Summer School will offer an intense scientific program on the topics of chronobiology and circadian disorders, hypersomnia and in particular hypersomnolence in neurological disorders, insomnia and mental health, sleep and psychiatry, sleep and neurologic disorders with a specific focus on epilepsy, movement disorders, parasomnias and disorders of arousals, and sleep related breathing disorders with a specific focus on personalized medicine.
